Primary Care Weekends at The Square at Norwin will be closed Saturday, April 20.


Primary Care Weekends offers walk-in care services at the Latrobe and Norwin locations from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays. Please note, Primary Care Weekends at The Square at Frick Hospital is only open on Saturdays.

Primary Care Weekends is your stop for convenient medical care when your doctor isn't available. You'll find the same, high quality care you've come to expect from our Excela Health Medical Group doctors along with easy access to x-ray, blood work and more, if needed.

  • Seasonal Allergies, Mild Asthma
  • Sprains, Strains and Broken Bones
  • Fever and Sore Throat
  • Skin Infections, Rashes, Bug Bites
  • Pink Eye and Other, Mild Eye Complaints
  • Nebulizer Treatments

We also provide camp, sports and school physicals for children and driver's license physicals. COVID-19 testing will be performed on symptomatic patients, when deemed necessary after an evaluation by the provider

When You Shouldn't Use Primary Care Weekends

Primary Care Weekends is an extension of your primary care, not for life-threatening illness/injuries or chronic care. Primary Care Weekends is not a walk-in COVID testing center. Only patients experiencing symptoms of COVID will be tested, when deemed necessary after an evaluation by the provider

Go to the nearest hospital emergency room or call 9-1-1.
