Join Independence Health System Mall Walkers at Westmoreland Mall in the food court. The doors open at 7:45 a.m. Ethan Cain, PA-C in Internal Medicine, will present 'Tick Borne Illnesses' at 8:20 a.m. After the presentation, you'll have the chance to ask questions and walk through the mall to get your steps in!
There is no cost to join. Meetings take place the fourth Thursday of each month, March through October and the third Thursday in November.

Blood donation can help save a life, and the need for blood is constant. Donate to the American Red Cross from 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Tuesday, July 28 at The Square at Latrobe. To schedule a donation time, call 1-800-733-2767 or follow the registration link.

This is a CPR class for community members that teaches Adult/Child/Infant CPR and use of an AED, appropriate for lay responders. You will NOT receive a card with this training. Class size is limited, recommended minimum age of 12, younger possibly with approval. $15 per person payable with cash or check the night of class.

Meet in the lobby of Westmoreland Hospital where a staff member will greet you then take you on a tour of the maternity unit. You will be able to see the unit and ask your guide questions. Schedule as a couple.

This class teaches basic first aid with lay rescuer CPR & AED for adult, child and infant through the American Heart Association. End time may vary some based on class size and experience of the students.

This two-day course is designed for those that do not hold a current AHA ACLS certification. The class is held from 9am - 3pm each day.
