Join us for the second annual Lung Cancer Awareness Walk in Butler. Lung cancer kills more people in the U.S. each year than breast, prostate, and colorectal cancers combined. Early detection can save lives. Independence Health System uses advanced low-dose CT scanners to detect lung cancer early offering more treatment options and better outcomes.
This year's walk will be offered at no charge for participants.

This two-day course is intended for students who do not have a current AHA PALS card. Class will run 9am - 3pm each day. The cost of the course for non-IHS employees is $150/student.

In this class, you will learn the benefits of breastfeeding for mom and baby, positioning tips for an effective latch, how making milk works, how to tell if baby is getting enough, and breastfeeding/pumping when returning to work.
Mothers are encouraged to bring a baby doll. Pre-registration required. Your Support Person does NOT need to register.

This live in person class covers topics of puberty for girls ages 9-12 and an adult female. Topics will include communication, healthy nutrition, hygiene, discussion of basic female anatomy and menstruation. $30 per mother (adult female)/ daughter pair up to 2 daughters between the ages of 9-12. 

Payments will be collected the night of the class as a check or exact cash.

Join Independence Health System Mall Walkers at Westmoreland Mall in the food court. The doors open at 7:45 a.m. Each month features a different health related topic and presentation. You'll have the chance to ask questions and walk through the mall to get your steps in! There is no cost to join.
Meetings take place the fourth Thursday of each month, March through October and the third Thursday in November.

Join us at the Clarion Health & Wellness Center for a Multiphasic Blood Screening. Multiphasic Blood Screenings are affordable community multiphasic blood analysis available to all community members. This panel blood test is an out of pocket cost. Partnered with Clarion Rotary Club and Clarion Forest VNA. 33 Panel Blood Test Starting at $75. Prepayment, credit cards, or check only. No cash will be accepted.

Wellness Checks are an affordable community multiphasic blood analysis available to all community members. This panel blood test is an out of pocket cost.
