COVID-19 Vaccine Information
At this time Excela Health is not administering any version of the COVID-19 vaccine. Vaccination is very important to prevent the spread of infections and is readily available at many retail pharmacy locations. Click here to find a retail pharmacy offering the vaccine.
Vaccines are working and are our best defense against COVID-19. Protection from your initial shots may decrease over time. Booster shots are available and are an easy way to keep your protection going strong.
Vaccines are currently available for those six months and older and boosters
are available for those age 12 and older. If you have a question about
vaccinations or about boosters, please call your primary care physician
or pediatrician for additional information or visit the
PA Department of Health website for up-to-date information.
COVID-19 vaccines are widely available at retail pharmacies. Excela Health
physician offices do not administer the vaccine. Please contact your local
pharmacy to inquire about vaccination appointments/availability.
There are currently three approved COVID-19 vaccine brands: Pfizer (Comirnaty), Moderna (Spikevax) and Johnson & Johnson (Jansen).
