Excela Health Hospice Hosted Christmas in July Benefit

The weather outside is delightful as were the holiday festivities at Rizzo’s Malabar Inn, Crabtree, when they hosted Christmas in July at their banquet facilities to benefit Excela Health Hospice.

Tickets included a glass of house sangria and an appetizer station before patrons enjoyed an Italian buffet including an antipasti bar, with a dessert of homemade cookies. Raffle baskets and a 50/50 drawing are also part of the fund-raising activities.

Erica Shaffer, Vice President, Post-Acute Care said the event " truly felt like Christmas seeing all of the smiles around the room and celebrating each other, our families and our community." 

Excela Health Hospice provides meaningful, end-of-life care and support to patients and families faced with a terminal illness. Staff and volunteers help to relieve many of the physical, emotional, and spiritual burdens associated with terminal illness. Excela Health Hospice provides families with 13 months of bereavement care after the loss.
