Medcare Equipment Company Expands Into Central Pennsylvania Through Partnership With UPMC Pinnacle

GREENSBURG, PA, May 1, 2018 … MedCare Equipment Co, LLC, which offers home medical equipment and respiratory therapy services to patients in western Pennsylvania, is expanding its business into central Pennsylvania through a new partnership with UPMC Pinnacle based in Harrisburg. The new company will be known as MedCare Susquehanna Valley LLC. Effective May 1, 2018, the company will serve patients in need of oxygen, CPAP, ventilators, beds, wheelchairs, and another home medical equipment from a new warehouse and retail location in Mechanicsburg.

MedCare Susquehanna Valley LLC is jointly owned by MedCare
Equipment Company LLC and UPMC Pinnacle. The new company expects to
employ up to 38 team members, including respiratory care technicians, delivery
drivers, and customer care associates in the central Pennsylvania region to
support the operation. The company will accept all major insurance plans.
