Excela Health Receives Energy Efficiency Grant From the West Penn Power Sustainable Energy Fund

Excela Health and the West Penn Power Sustainable Energy Fund (WPPSEF) are working together to reduce the Westmoreland County health system’s energy use within its three hospitals: Frick Hospital in Mount Pleasant; Latrobe Hospital and Westmoreland Hospital in Greensburg. All three facilities are fully licensed acute care hospitals committed to community access to vital acute care services and emergent care. Combined, the hospitals comprise 1.25 million square feet and Excela Health is looking to reduce energy and water costs at these facilities by 10%.
