Philosophy of Care

Growing up I always knew I wanted to help others; therefore, pursing a nursing career. I initially found my passion in the Emergency Department where I helped care for patients of every age range and medical condition. It was during that time, I recognized my love for caring for women and children. I knew I wanted to expand my education and obtain my advanced practice degree. Ultimately, I knew I wanted to care for women across their lifespan. I enjoy the promotion and advocacy of health for women from menarche to pregnancy and through menopause. I strive to incorporate evidence based care into my clinical practice and advocate for empowerment of women. I value education, lifelong individual learning, and the development and application of research to guide ethical and competent  practice in Women's Health. I am blessed to be able to offer this care and compassion to those females in my home town.
